Content Ownership and Rights
When you post, upload, or share content on our platform, you retain ownership of that content. However, to provide our services, you grant us a license to use your content in specific ways. The license also permits us to create backups, provide content to users across different devices, and make necessary technical modifications such as reformatting for different screen sizes.
This license is non-exclusive, meaning you can grant similar licenses to other platforms or services. It's also revocable, meaning that when you delete content, we will remove it from public view, though we may retain copies for a limited time for technical or legal reasons. The license includes the right to sublicense to third-party service providers who help us operate our platform, but these providers are contractually required to protect your content and use it only as necessary to provide services to us.
Copyright Protection and DMCA Compliance
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Your notice must include specific information, including identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the user who posted it. The user may then submit a counter-notification if they believe the content was removed in error. We have a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We also provide educational resources to help users understand copyright law and fair use principles.

Content Moderation and Review Process

Our automated systems use machine learning to detect potentially violating content, which is then prioritized for human review. Human moderators are trained to understand context, cultural nuances, and the intent behind content when making moderation decisions.
We review reported content as quickly as possible, typically within 24 hours for most reports and within one hour for reports involving urgent safety concerns. Our moderation decisions are guided by our community guidelines, legal requirements, and cultural context. We maintain detailed records of our moderation actions for transparency and accountability purposes.
Appeals and Restoration Process
If your content is removed or your account is restricted, you have the right to appeal our decision. Appeals are reviewed by moderators who were not involved in the original decision, and we may consult with subject matter experts for complex cases. We aim to resolve appeals within 7 days, though complex cases may take longer.
During the appeals process, we consider new information you provide, review the original moderation decision, and assess whether our policies were correctly applied. If we determine that content was removed in error, we will restore it and remove any associated account penalties. We also use appeals data to improve our moderation systems and provide additional training to our moderation teams.
Age-Appropriate Content Standards
We maintain different content standards for different age groups to ensure age-appropriate experiences. Content that may be suitable for adults may not be appropriate for younger users. We use age-gating to restrict access to mature content and provide parents with tools to control their children's experience on our platform.
Content involving minors is subject to particularly strict review.
